November 8th General Election

On November 8, 2011, York County voters will choose a member of the state Senate, a member of the House of Delegates, a member of the county's Board of Supervisors, a member of the county's School Board, Sheriff, Commissioner of the Revenue, Commonwealth's Attorney, Treasurer, and two members of the Soil and Water board.

Any qualified resident of Virginia may apply for voter registration or update his or her registration information at the Registrar's Office, the Yorktown or Tabb Libraries, or the Griffin-Yeates Center. Voter registration applications are also available on the York County web site. Qualified residents who will be 18 years of age on or before November 8, may register and vote in the November election.

Mailed voter registration applications must be postmarked no later than Monday, October 17. Hand delivered applications must be received in the office by October 17.
